The Solar Energy Potential of Greece for Flat-Plate Solar Panels Mounted on Double-Axis Systems

The aim of the present work is to investigate efficiency flat-plate solar panels in Greece for delivering energy. In this study, are mounted on a two-axis tracker, which follows daily path sun. context, annual energy sums estimated such surfaces from hourly horizontal radiation values at forty-three locations, covering all Greece. embedded typical meteorological years sites obtained PVGIS tool. All calculations use near-real surface-albedo sites, and isotropic anisotropic models used estimate diffuse-inclined radiation. analysis provides non-linear regression expressions as function time (month, season). found vary between 2247 kWhm−2 2878 under all-sky conditions with transposition model. Finally, maps showing distribution seasonal all- clear-sky derived first time, these constitute main innovation work.
